When Black Lives Matter, All Lives Matter.

Becoming Anti-Racist

United in love for God and neighbor, we commit to become an anti-racist congregation, working toward racial equity and justice in our own church community, in the life and culture of Carroll County, and beyond.

St. Paul’s Action

We join with local and national organizations including NAACP, Coalition Against Prejudice, Carroll Citizens for Racial Equality, and the Equal Justice Initiative. Together we are working to dismantle racism, offering educational opportunities and listening to and supporting BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Color) in the community. Additionally, we engage in advocacy for social justice policies and practices throughout Carroll County.

St. Paul’s Covenant

St. Paul’s United Church of Christ acknowledges we participate in a culture that benefits some and oppresses others.

Systemic racism strikes at the heart of God's commandment to love our neighbor, even as it jeopardizes the Beloved Community and diminishes God’s vision for the world.
